During a 21-day fast in September 2022, Eva and Jesse found themselves heavily burdened by Jesus' prayer in John 17 — a prayer for oneness — expressing a desire for unity in the body of Christ, and a compelling call to see everyone everywhere becoming one with God. In response to this call to become Jesus' answered prayer, One-City Abuja was officially launched on the 1st of October, 2023.

This gospel movement aims to see lives transformed by the gospel, fostering personal, cultural, and communal renewal from one city to another, starting in Abuja and reaching the ends of the earth. Our desire is to be and to experience the move of God here as it is in heaven.
